Lucky Penny Quilting provides all-over digital edge-to-edge longarm quilting services.

 

Quilting

Edge-to-Edge (E2E) designs – $0.0275/square inch

Thread

We carry a variety of solid colored thread. We will select the best color thread to compliment your quilt top. If you have a specific color preference, we’ll do our best to accommodate.

We use the same color thread for both the top and backing unless specified.

Batting

You may provide your own batting or purchase one of the options we have on hand.

  • Hobbs 80/20 (Cotton/Polyester) Batting – $0.26 /linear inch **

  • Quilters Dream Cotton - Select Loft Batting – $0.36 /linear inch **

  • Quilters Dream Wool Batting – $0.40 /linear inch **

  • Provide your own – $0

All yardage bolts are 93” wide. If your quilt is wider than 85” on both sides, you will need to provide your own batting or let us know and we can order king-size batting at your request.

Basting

We are currently not offering our basting options at this time. If you have a question and want to work something out with us, please email us.

Linear Quilt Basting (stitches in one direction only, spaced 5” apart) – $0.01/square inch

Finishing Options

We are currently not offering our finishing options at this time. If you have a question and want to work something out with us, please email us.

We can trim and square up the quilt for $0.05 /linear inch.

We can prepare double fold binding from your provided fabric, trim and square-up the quilt and provide one of the following finishing options.

Binding options:

  • Machine stitch it to the front of your quilt, you sew to the back side – $0.15 /linear inch

  • Machine stitch it to the back of your quilt, then we machine stitch to the front side – $0.25 /linear inch

Additional services

Any services outside of what’s listed above, including but not limited to: pressing, mending loose stitching, trimming threads, sewing the backing, or squaring the quilt top or the backing will be charged at $25/hr.

Project Handoff

We can accommodate any of the following ways to handoff your project and will follow up with details about each in our confirmation email once you’ve filled out our online form.

  • Drop off and pick up from Lucky Penny Quilting at our Olympia, WA location. – Free

  • Ship to Lucky Penny Quilting. – Return shipping included on final invoice

The Fine Print

*There is a minimum quilting service charge of $50 per project.

**CA sales tax of 9% will be added to purchase of batting.
